How Can severe Sleep Paralysis Be Treated?

I think I m experiencing sleep paralysis. It s been happening for about 2 months now,, and it s starting to occur while I m awake. It usually happens when I fall asleep and then wake up a few moments later and can t move or talk. All I can do is look around and wait till I can move again. What s causing this?
